Handover Inspection

PRACTICAL COMPLETION & HANDOVER INSPECTIONS

Before completing a handover of a new build, contact Vision Building Reports and have our team conduct a practical completion and handover inspection for you. These inspections are conducted to Australian Standards and tolerances as established by the Building Commission in 2007. They are designed to identify areas that have not been built to Australian standards.

We recommend having a pre-inspection carried out before making any final payments. All relevant defects will be outlined in the report and can be repaired by the builder. Often, once the final payment has been made, it is difficult to get rectification from the builder. All too often they will state the defects are a result of maintenance and that they are not obligated to repair them.
